While I'm in here, I suppose I'll be devil's advocate and beat Ranker to the punch and make a stretched out Finland reference: The title of this thread is, omitting the extra letters, "KRAKOW!" Krakow is the capital of Poland. Poland is a European nation, located somewhere close to... ...you guessed it, Finland. ........Sorry guys. I was bored ![]() |

ArrowX | when we stay in shilo we constantly have to cope wiht the thunderous roars of the Loeopard C2's 150mm gun. But getting to ride shotgun in a brand new APV is fucking sweet

I always wanted a Chinook when I was a kid. Still do. It's like a flying submarine. |

Fathom Zero | A Chinook is not a plane, you gimp. Planes zip over your head in seconds, a Chinook is an impossibly loud helicopter with two sets of propellers.

Dude, my life rocks. Just try climbing over speed bumps with hiking boots because your so small. Try going into a bar and not getting tossed out for being seven years old when your drinking age (for that matter try being a bartender that gets carded - and I once was a bartender) Planes flying overhead??? I have a far better chance of surviving (being lower to the ground) than you, fucktard. I love MY life and the ants I live with. |

Fathom Zero | I live near the military air strip on Ft. Sill, so Chinooks and the trainees flying them are constantly buzzing overhead.

Here in Terre Haute we just have trains coming by all the time... and every now and then a meth lab explodes. Gotta love the midwest. ![]() |

We have C-17 Globemaster planes at McChord AFB which was 2 miles away from my parents home, and they are up 24 hours. Then we have the Artillery from Fort Lewis shaking the windows, and E6-B Prowlers from Whidbey Naval Base flying over once and awhile. Now, the Prowler is a freaking old plane, and are twice as loud as a F-15 squadren, which McChord plays host to once in awhile We also have to deal with Military Conveys driving on the highway. Not that I'm Complaining, I love all the sounds and sights. Seeing a Stryker Assault Transport traveling at 70 mph 1 lane over is a awesome sight. God, I love being in a Military City. |

WhiteRat | Try having to hear jets flying around everyday at all times of the day. Nothing beats waking up at midnight because your window is cracked open and an F-15 is soaring over your dorm.

NEEEAAAARRRRRRKKKKKRRRAAKKKOOWOWWOWOWWW So my work is near the Naval base in Annapolis and every 2 minutes today jets are thundering around in formation. Apparently they're graduating tomorrow or something? Jets will be jets, I guess. I keep getting flashbacks to that time I played 'big red one' at a kiosk. |
