I got it for the pc. Its third person/fps. Yea they cancelled the contest boo-hoo. Its a great game and really fun. : ( Orson Scott Card co-wrote the screenplay, yea. |

| ArrowX | lots of people did but the company didn't make enough money on the game to be able to shell out any money. It apparently was cool storywise but gameplay is supposed to be too much crammed into too little. |

Isn't Advent Rising the game that had some sort of contest you could win, but the game was so broken that the contest ended up not going forward? I remember ads like "YOU COULD WIN A TON OF FUCKING MONEY! also there's this game." |

Phantom Dust is awesome. It has some of the coolest particle effects ever. FANG OF FUCKING TREE makes up about 1/3 of my inventory. |

You wanna know what's really an underground X-Box game? Phantom Dust. But I did buy Advent Rising. It was okay. Kinda felt like Star Wars: Jedi Outcast and Enter the Matrix got together and had a retarded baby. That baby was named Advent Rising. I do like the story, though, and am interested to see where it goes, if at all. |

I heard its a pretty underground game and its mixed feelings about the flick system and the camera controls. I havent gotten around to playing it cuz nobody in town has it for rent. BTW: its a third person game not an fps. PS is it true the story was created by O.S. Card? |

Advent Rising Fuck you all for not buying this.  I just bought this a couple days ago and it is probably the best single player fps I've ever played. The game is fun and creative and the storyline is great. Its only 20$ at video game stores now too and is most definitely worth it. Seriously though, they probably wont make the sequel now and I'm pissed with this ending
