fack me for some ppl like me raving IS a way of life, id hate to think where id be without rave music, id probably become a couch tatta just smoking weed and posting meaningless shit on message boards and chatting with ppl i dont even know, what kinda life would that be eh ? ps what does rave mean ?.  hello lenor hope your ok girlie.

I'd just like to add that the bottom line is that this is a humor site and that both ravers and non-ravers shouldn't take it too seriously. Honestly, candy kids and starchildren - for the love of god! If you let a bit of fun-poking get you down you're gonna lose your PLUR, and then where will we be? And raver haters - you think you're so cool and such because you hate us, or so you think, but honestly I believe you would not feel so strongly if there was not a site dedicated to that sort of thing. You're simply trying to fit in with the general flow of things, and I'm sure that I-mockery had a "let's glorify the ravers page" then you'd all be singing our praises. So please don't talk about our lack of originality. We don't try and be original, we try and be a part of a peaceful collective who gathers for the sake of enjoying theirselves and listening to the music they love - not to get high, not to have crazy e-tard orgies. ... For someone to imply that ones own lifestyle is 'recreational' or maybe a 'hobby' should maybe go past his/ hers mommys fence to see what the world is about. I could see maybe doing drugs, dressing up and danceing as a 'hobby'. But to truly understand that culture or any culture is a state of mind, and No not always drug induced. People are always trying to make themselves look better by makeing fun of something that they dont understand. Whatever you do and Wherever you go someone will be able to throw every thing you ever thought of away and make your mind do backflips trying to remember exactly who you are. |
