MetalMilitia | Well if you didn't like DoD, it's hard to reccomend DoD:S. Do you play CSS or CS? |

Finally bought 'Day Of Defeat: Source' Anyone else play it? Some thoughts about the game: - I prefer the weapons in the original DoD. In DoD:S they are really innacurate unless you are perfectly still. I guess it's more realistic but games are far lest fast paced than they used to be. - The german rifle doesn't kill with 1 shot anymore. This seems a bit stupid to me as it worked well in the original. Now the Garand has an advantage as it can shoot faster. - The Germans need a rapid fire rifle like the M14. - The noise filter which comes on when you die sucks. I know you can disable it but they could have done better. It could be because I'm playing at a low resolution though. Overall it's a fun game and well worth the £12 I paid for it, I hope they add the Brits in a later patch and perhaps some more weapons. |
