KevinTheOmnivore I'll leave it alone, but polls really suck.

Please avoid them.

Is it time to allow Japan to rewrite their constitution?

Sending troops to Iraq, being the sole country to stand up to Korea, a model of Western ideals in the far east. In a continent with islamic rebels in the south and west, and communists in the north it's nice to see such a prosperous fair and idylic state.

Anyway my point is this. They aren't onna attack pearl harbor or enslave the philipines. But they are using their self defence troops to help in places they doing things they believe in, and even discussing if attacking the missile silos of korea preemptively is self defence, isn't it time we trust them with their own army? Doesn't Japan deserve this responsibility? Can't we trust them?

It's one thing for a country to be nuetral in thier constitution by choice (poland) or by being a pussy (france) But it's clear Japan desires and even NEEDS an army for it's own protection. What reason is their to deny them that still? Are they a threat to anyone but terrorists and attackers?
