| Dr. V | It wasn't so bad this week, but it will get worse. We stay open an hour later, so that means I have to stay there an hour later. I rarely get home before 11. It gets tough when every wed and sat we're expected to unload 3 or 4 pallets of product that's stashed in totes that can be best described as random variety grab bags that look like they were loaded by a blind retarded monkey after it just woke up from a night of binge drinking. Needless to say, they aren't sorted very well. On top of that, the "load" as we call it never gets finished until the day before the next shipment. Also, I'm expected to sell "service plans" and "product replacement plans" to idiots who can't see it's a rip-off. All the while keeping shrink (theft) down because we're the worst store in the district. Plus one of my 4 bosses (yes 4) is an anal, lazy, fat, homo who likes to sit and bitch about his time at the club last saturday and yell at us for "wasting his payroll". Add to that old people and asians who act like they just got off the boat from Beijing and you can see why back to school time just burns my ass even more. BUT, the only silver lining is, I'm getting a fat promotion in the next few months essentially tripling my pay with little more responsibility than I already have. Gotta love Staples. Where do you work? I work at an office depot and it's not like the shit is difficult. It sucks to have like 6 people to help at once, but if they think you're taking too long or whatever, they can go fuck themselves. Also, if explaining a CD-R is a problem, you're not doing it fast enough. I try to keep explanations very short and only answer the questions they ask, so they don't have time to drag you around the store. That's the shit i hate, when someone acts like i'm a fucking concierge, who's only working there to tour them around the store and tell them what to buy. Fuck that. |

Back to school... Not for me but for the rest of the world. Guess what that means? I have to put up with stupid ass moms fighting over the last TI-83 Plus and asking me is what a CD minus R is. At least it isn't as bad as christmas in a toy store. |
