I don't know about the old version, but in twin snakes the guard will say something about snake playing with himself  But you guys still haven't answered my question about how to keep meryl alive.

at the end of MGS if Meryl lives she gives snake her headband which gives him infinite ammo. In MGS2 at one point, Raiden asks Snake if he will be alright. So Snake points at his head and says, "Infinite Ammo." So its assumed that is the real ending of MGS. also, if your in the cell, lay on the ground and use the Ketchup. Snake will pour it on the ground underneth him and when the guard comes in he will think its blood. So he will go into the cell and when he turns around you can take him out. Also try hiding underneth the bed. In MGS3 if you try hiding under the bed, the guard says something about not fooling him and kicks you. |

haha, what does he do with the ketchup? Also, Otacon just gives you a keycard to get out of the torture room and is too lame to kill the guard and get you out of the cell in both versions. |

| ArrowX | Ketchup works, as does having Ninja Come and Kick the door down, and I hear in one of the games Ottacon comes wiht a Key and opens the door. | ||
