timrpgland I'm going to scout the game place today or tomorrow again to see what new (old) goodies they got in.

After the big storm with the PS3 and Wii (where I'll be spending lots of money), I'll be getting my hands on a AES console.

Hot damn, I love that game.
I want to get that one. I think the English version still gets a bit pricey unfortunately.

They didn't have a AC adaptar for this thing but it runs for 40 hours on 2 AA batteries. Heh, that's pretty awesome.

I had fun messing around with Turf Masters and Dark Arms last night. I had a few issues with the joypad type thing starting out but it's actually pretty awesome once you get used to it.

I guess KOF:R2 can connect to the DC with KOF 99: Dream Match (which I have for the DC) but I don't have the connector cable

Same with me, except for when I'm dragged along on excursions across the country. But I do get an adapter. Most of the time, I'm not around a TV and I want that experience to travel with me around the house.

MrAdventure i have never once felt comfortable playing a portable gaming system in public, but maybe it's coming from a childhood full of school yard sessions where if you had something cool, other kids would snatch it and break it to spite the fact that it wasn't theirs

Juttin The Lynx also doubles as a Pet-Game. You have to recharge it every 15 minutes or IT WILL DIE

You're damned right I would. :P But yeah, you really should pick that thing up. I haven't even seen one in a store for ages, and honestly, even though I own one, I'd buy another if I saw it in a store just out of principle. It's that good. o.O

You passed up an Atari Lynx for the Neo Geo Pocket Color? Big mistake.

LYNX = GREATNESS
Sep 18th, 2006 05:41 PM
timrpgland Yeah, unfortunately they didn't have a large selection of games but I'm going to keep an eye on their stock weekly or something.

I'll probably ebay some stuff soon. Dive Alert looks pretty cool too.

the_dudefather we had a couple of these in the place i work a few weeks back, including a couple of sweet bundles (console, KOf and metal slug i think was one of them)

Grislygus I loved the Neo Geo Color, but I could never get one for myself when I was younger. Nowadays, I'm not particularly into handhelds, so I don't plan on getting one, but I still have fond memories of it.

Neo Geo Pocket Color

Well I just traded in some junk and got one of these from All Game here in town.

Got 3 games for half price too:
Dark Arms
Neo Turf Masters
KOF: R-2

Basically, this is just a collector's item for me but the system does have some fun games. Main ones I'd like to get are Metal Slug 1st Mission, 2nd Mission, Faselei, Biomotor Unitron and The Last Blade.

Now, to just get a Neo Geo AES console.

Oh and they also tempted me with their Atari Lynx but I'm a SNK freak.
