GADZOOKS | I'm impressed! I still want to get the PC version though until I know all the features that will be out of the DS version. |

I'd buy it for sure. Theme Park is coming to DS too, that's a game I've missed ever since Windows XP appeared and it stopped working. |

GADZOOKS | That is great news but 20 bucks says that the DS version is going to be at least a year away. I'll probably cave before then and get it on the computer (god willing it comes out this year). This is really the only time I have been anticipating a video game. |

http://www.destructoid.com/spore-ds-...d--29574.phtml Dude, it's been confirmed by Electronic Arts' CFO Warren Jenson. Yeah, I don't know the guy either, but I'm sure he's important. |

You sure Spore is coming to DS? I mean, like, everywhere you go there are "wishful thinking" rumours of Spore coming to this platform and that platform. It'd be really well suited though. |

I thought that the procedural generation was key to how spore WOULD work on a DS, as it frees up processing (from stuff like animation and texturing) and everything can be graphicly scaled down easily...or something...been a while since ive watched the speech will be interesting if it works though |

They made a whole big fuss about how practically everything in Spore will be proceduraly generated - textures, models, music - whole worlds. Does the DS really have enough processing power to do all that? I suspect not. I can see this being one of those situations where a game is released which shares the name of a PC counterpart but the similarities stop there. They'll call it, like, SporeDS and it'll just be a shell of the real game. Then again, what do I know? |

Hmmm... I think that it will take a hit in the graphics department. There can't be as many things going on on the screen at one time as on the PC version. I really don't know, though. There's another Sims game coming to the DS, and it's cutesy and full of big-headed avatars. BTW, here's a link that does work. It's the IGN article on Spore. http://ds.ign.com/articles/692/692432p1.html |

Man how is that going to work? I mean it's great because my computer won't handle the game and I do have a DS, but how much will they water down the game so that it will work on a DS. And how is that extended galaxy using other people's content going to work? I don't know how wifi is going to handle that. I mean it might be a great idea, but I can see it being really weak. I think I would rather shell out for a better graphics card so I can play it on my computer. Also, your link does not work. |

Spore for the DS. Well, this one slipped under my radar completely. More and more, I want a DS. http://www.next-gen.biz/index?option...=4664&Itemid=2 |
