they've got a really good message board, that Al and his wife post on occassionally and read regular. we know this cos they've made replies on the official site about our mis-conceived babblings. and if they enjoy your posts, some folk get to meet them or get freebies. I think that's so cool as some rock stars get their heads well and truely stuck up their arses and think their fans are below them. |

Palindrome. Do you ever wonder why the word for a palindrome isn't a palindrome? You'd think it would be. |

Jeanette X | Animositisomina...I wonder what that means. I know that anima and animus are Jungian psychological concepts...maybe thats it? "somina" is Latin for sleep...but what could sitis mean? I've never heard it used...not alone or as a suffix. |

I reckons it's as almost as good as when they were in their prime. Loads better than the last two albums. I was into it the minute I heard it. I'm off to London in a bit to see them live!! |

How's it compared to earlier shit? I think Ministry is overrated. |

Helm | Thanks for the review, lens flared ass. I've heard it's good too, but I don't think I'll rush out to buy it. Not with so much stuff on the 'to get' list. |

ANIMOSITISOMINA - NEW MINISTRY ALBUM So I came home after work on a grey, wet Wednesday in England (which is on the brink of war, y'know). The Postie's left a parcel on my mat and it's Ministry's new CD, 'Animositisomina'. I stuck the CD in my stereo and pottered into the kitchen to make my tea. 'Animiosity' burst into my house and I abruptly pottered out of the kitchen. 'Bloody Hell,' I thought, 'I'd heard it was good, but this ties my ears in knots of hyper-activity'. Even if the rest of the album was shit (it isn't) it would be worth buying on the strength of this track alone. I decided to fuck off tea and have some cider instead. My house-mate came home and even though she's a hardcore-oi-skinhead-babe who likes Ska and suchlike, she rated this Ministry album and joined me with the cider. We turned the stereo up loud and had an impromptu party. Woke up the next day hungry, happy and hungover. 'Animositisomina' is hard pronounce before you're drunk, but I can spell it. It's loud, fast, pumping and played well. The best aural sex I've ever had. You kids don't deserve this. And it only cost £11.99 from Amazon, which when you consider a pint of cider costs £2 these days, it's the cheapest bliss I've had in years. Buy it now and impress your friends by knowing the lyrics before they do. |
