MetalMilitia My favourite is chicken tikka masala as it's very mild. Korma is good too but it's a bit coconuty for some people's tastes.

MattJack You know how much gumbo I've ate since I've been alive? Probably more than everyone on this board combined. The same can be said with crawfish, shrimp, catfish, fish in general, and most animals that like to kick it underwater.

My great grandmother throws down in the kitchen harder than Bobby Flay on cocaine. Unfortuneatly, curry isn't one of her specialties. She could cook up a piece of shit and it would be the best thing you've ever tasted.

Delicious Curry

I've never really had any form or type of curry. What is a good one to try for the first time that'll turn me onto this type of food?

I understand that it is kind of like how we look at stew or chili in the sense that there are about 1,000,000 variations. I like meats, except for pork (dirty fuckin animal), extremely spicey foods, and I'm down with most vegetables.

My friend's mom made some the other night and it looked like it had some type of fruit or something in it. I didn't try it, but it got me curious to this dish.
