Protoclown I got Castlevania last week and I can't beat Frankenstein to save my life. That fucking monkey on his back keeps fucking me up

Mockery The releases for this week are:

Final Fight (SNES)

Mighty Bomb Jack (NES)

Ordyne (TurboGrafx 16)

I'd be all over Final Fight if it wasn't the 1-player SNES version.

Girl Drink Drunk I managed to beat Death in the first game once, but then one of his flying scythe's came back and killed me before I could get the orb Also, the graphics would screw up, and instead of those skeletons would throw moving bats instead of bones.

Oh and whats up with the cord being on the bottom of the controller and not on top? Ive held it upside down about 10 jillion times now and I cant get used to it.

Oh and R-Type 3 Makes me smile BIG TIME. :D
Fucking amateurs. The jewel on his turban blinks before every punch, and when he does the magic punch hold down and then hit and hold down every time he comes around. If you did this correctly when he's finished he'll be dazed and you can punch his face and he'll fall down.

Mockery The releases for this week are:

Gradius III (SNES)

Wonder Boy in Monster World (Genesis)

Battle Lode Runner (TurboGrafx 16)

Hrm, I'm not sure if I've played any of these ones before or not. I've played Gradius games before, just not sure which ones.

Fathom Zero There'll definately be Saturn games. It makes too much sense.
Apr 16th, 2007 06:41 PM
Sacks Because they kickin' it oldschool.
Apr 16th, 2007 05:53 PM
Cliff Steele what the hell? didn't they just announce they will be releasing saturn games? why would they do the genesis version of vf2
Apr 16th, 2007 02:02 PM
Mockery Yep, today's releases are as follows:

Punch-Out!! (NES - Featuring Mr. Dream, NOT Mike Tyson)

Virtua Fighter 2 (Sega Genesis)

Bonk's Revenge (TurboGrafx-16)

Pretty good day release-wise, though I must once again say that Punch-Out would be 1000 times more awesome if they made it actually work with the Wii-mote and nunchuck.

Sacks I heard Punch-Out!! just came out on VC! WOOOOOOOO! Don't know if it's true though. WOOOOOOO!

Mockery Today's releases:

-Alex Kidd in the Enchanted Castle (Genesis - I only played the original game, never tried this one out.)

-BRAVOMAN (TurboGrafx-16 - supposedly a fairly entertaining beat 'em up game. Anybody played this one?)

-Galaga (NES - meh.)
Apr 3rd, 2007 06:56 PM
Sacks I never got to beat it when I was young because our maid stole it. I was pissed.

executioneer tmnt on nes is rad but it takes a lot of strategy
Apr 2nd, 2007 06:49 PM
Sacks For real, I hate that guy.
Apr 2nd, 2007 06:42 PM
Mockery That guy tries way too hard to be angry/funny. :/ It'd be much better if it came off naturally (ie: somebody other than him did it).

But anyway, the game is entertaining if you ask me, but if you're expecting something like the easy beat 'em up arcade game, you're in for a surprise.

the_dudefather the nes game is a platform game, which I quite like, but some people don't http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XjUz8IT0CYg

do you know how the nes version differs from the arcade? is it still good?
Apr 2nd, 2007 03:07 PM
Sacks Seriously though guys that game is garbage.
Apr 2nd, 2007 03:01 PM
Sacks Hahahaha, Elevator Action! I actually have the cartridge for that. It's the best game to play if you want to piss off all of your friends with gameplay far too amazing for them to ever understand.
