Masked wrestler will continue with disguise after election win A masked wrestler has won a seat in local elections in Japan and says he'll continue to wear his disguise at meetings. The Great Sasuke won a seat in the Iwate Prefectural Assembly, gaining more votes than any of the other 11 candidates. The 33-year-old professional wrestler says he will champion the cause of others in his battles out of the ring. "I want to do my best to combat medical problems and eradicate child abuse. I also want to work in the assembly while masked," he said. The Great Sasuke was endorsed by the Liberal Party, reports the Mainichi Daily News.
