It's better than the original because it follows the plot of the manga closer, in that it doesn't branch off with a brand new plot partway in. In that way, it's better, but not by much. |

I've heard the OVA is better. I looked it up on eBay and found a boxed set for 80 bucks. I was like "Fuck yeah" cuz I thought it was the whole series. TURNS OUT IT'S ONLY THE FIRST 3 EPISODES. :D That's what, an average of over 25 dollars an ep? This shit had better make me piss joy for three days straight to be worth that. |

I'm kind of a Blade fan, so I enjoyed this too. :[ I haven't seen the OVA yet, just the anime. I was ecstatic when I found the first 3 episodes for 3 dollars on DVD :o |

I've only seen a few episodes of Hellsing but the art and vibe is so nutty and misanthropic it's hard NOT to like it. Vampire Hunter D is still good. Fuck Ninja Scroll. |
