Jomb It's hard to gauge what that could do to a child's fragile psyche. If you end up as an axe murderer or a child molester, you know who to blame at your therapy sessions!

Guitar Woman Rog and Protoclown being gay for each other destroyed my CHILDHOOD

Jomb I'm deeply offended by your timeline.
How could you forget the prostitutes? The marijuana? Where's the homosexual references? A penis alone only goes so far without a thriling storyline (preferably featuring gaybos).

Also, Guitar Woman, it just hit me.. you've been coming here since you were 9?!? No wonder you have such gender confusion!

Jomb Rog himself has said Knife Boy was the 1st one. It was farked in 2002
http://forums.fark.com/cgi/fark/comm...?IDLink=132521
So unless it was farked 2 years after the fact it must have been reviewed in 2002.

could be wrong though, its not exactly a scientific way to get the date or anything

Guitar Woman Are you sure? Because I remember knowing about the site since I was like 9 or 10.

It could have also been the earlier flash games, I don't know.

Jomb Thats funny because there were no ROM-hack reviews here in 2000
Knife Boy was the 1st one you know. My research suggests thats from 2002...

Guitar Woman FUN FACT: I first discovered the main I-Mock site through their ROM hack reviews way back in 2000!

Jomb I must confess I dont know what The Daily Bull is, according to http://www.thedailybull.ca/
it dont exist yet.

Basically there is no real home for comedy/bizarre/offensive hacks right now. This is the closest we got right here at I-mockery. But the logistics of writing ROM-hack reviews means that only so many can make it to this site. In badhacks.net we hope to create a home for these sorts of hacks.

Chojin It's our own little The Daily Bull of rom hacks!

Emu So this place is I-Mockery's Toonzone?
Oct 17th, 2007 08:06 PM
Chojin I thought this was pretty much what i-mockery was known for doing these days?

Doing 'proper' reviews of rom hacks is like doing a critical analysis of nick jr shows.

Jomb I cant speak for other hackers, but I'm going to be brutal Maybe I cant be as brutal as say, Dr. Boogie (that guy has the brutal market cornered!), but I'll do my best. They will probably be along the lines of the way I wrote the History Of ROM-hacking article.

Which penis are you referring to? Do you mean the analog ROM-hack? Some other penis? That site is just crawling with penis!

Guitar Woman What, reviews BY hackers? Then you will all just treat them like a fine wine or something

EXCELLENT PALETTE WORK ON THE PENIS!
Oct 17th, 2007 06:38 PM
Jomb Yea, its in its infancy, there are many more hacks getting added in, and it will ultimately also have ROM-hack reviews.
Oct 17th, 2007 06:09 PM
Guitar Woman That site has really shitty selection.
Oct 16th, 2007 10:15 PM
Jomb Spam? Phillistine!
Oct 16th, 2007 09:36 PM
Emu Wasn't someone JUST spamming this site not an hour ago?
Oct 16th, 2007 08:59 PM
MarioRPG That was most enlightening. I had no idea of the rich history.

The History Of ROM-Hacking

You all know me primarily from my ROM-hacks. I've been making obscene/offensive/juvenile/hilarious ROM hacks for 8 years now (4 if you take out the hiatus ). It is time to put everything in perspective. I wrote an article about the history of ROM-hacking. It isn't just an article, it is a manifesto.

go to:
http://www.badhacks.net/

hen click on the History Of ROM-hacking to the left.

Enjoy!
