q-tip + rubbing alcohol. soak the q-tip in the alcohol, and rub it (kind of hard) on both sides of the contacts inside the cartridge. put cartridge in system. eject. put cartridge in system. eject. do that 3 or 4 times. hopefully that works for ya. you can also clean the contacts inside the machine, but if you do the insert/eject a few times you shouldn't need to. good luck. oh, and you are sure your system's getting power, right? the red light is on? |

timrpgland | Stick your snes in a box, go out into your backyard, dig a hole, drop the snes in, shed a tear and go buy another. |

Blow into the cartridge and if that doesn't work giggle the cable. Your SNES is now fixed. |

Does your power supply rattle when you shake it? Mine ended up falling apart and coming loose after a few years and fastening it back together with electrical tape fixed the problem. ![]() |
