MetalMilitia Money, as per Chimp's reasoning.

AChimp I'd go with the money. It might turn out that you like the people, anyways, and even if you don't it's easier to leave and go to a better job in the future (especially since this is computer stuff).

Hanging out with "cool people" is no reason to get paid worth shit for your technical skills.

King Hadas You say one group is really nice but is the other group a bunch of jerks? If not then you should go with the cash.

Fathom Zero Money's great and all, but it won't pick you up at the airport.

Zomboid Yeah good people are what make work tolerable.

WhiteRat Definitely take the people.

Great co-workers are why I worked at Papa John's for 3 years even though the pay was shit. I made enough to pay the bills and money was usually tight, but I had some great memories working there and nearly 3 years after I left I still keep in touch with several of them.

People>Money

Chojin I'd go with the people, yeah. Neither of these jobs is gonna make you rich, so I'd make the most of it.

sloth if its dorky computer stuff its probably easier to find high paying positions than cool people? and if you get on with the people youre working with well, chances are youll make good contacts for after the internship finishes that could end up in a high paying job?

Mockery People. As long as you're able to afford to pay rent 'n what not, the money doesn't have to be that big of an issue. Working with people you don't like will take its toll on you in the long run and you'll be using that extra money to pay an overpriced therapist to help you come to terms with the rage you've been keeping bottled up inside due to a fear of losing your job if you told the people you work with just how much you hate them.

Work with people you like and you'll sleep better at night... even if it is on an air matress instead of one of those cushy NASA space foam beds.

MLE moneys ;< you can always hang out with the other peoples outside of the internship and go, like, bowling or something.

CaptainBubba I'm afraid to talk bout it in detail bc there is a non-disclosure policy on both and I'm paranoid of the internets : (

But both involve dorky computer stuff that I love. :o

AChimp What are these jobs for?

Monies or Cool People?

I've just recieved 2 internship offers at once and one pays 150% of what the other pays but the lower paying one has really cool people who are super nice and I honestly will feel either bad with one or stupid with the other and I knew I should have just interviewed at one of them : (

I hate making these decisions : /

My gut says go with the nice people bc/ they are cool and that is what works all bout but with that monies I could afford things like cable and eating out at nice places on occasion and maybe even a new computer :o

Also they both essentially do the same type of work so thats a moot.
