I barely made it to stage 4 before getting reamed. But it's still so fun! Edit: I like the action and the throwbacks to old contra bosses, but what really made my day was the way they made the manual like one of those old NES manuals, where the seemingly serious elements are presented in an odd tongue-in-cheek manner. |

Same here, Me and my co-worker bought the game the same day. We each beat it on easy, but we are still stuck on level 2 on normal. This game is pure hatred. At least i unlocked the PROBOTECTOR As well as Contra and Super C. |

It's just like having battletoads with you wherever you'd like to go! I beat the game on easy, but that doesn't let you get to the last 2 stages and I can't beat stage 2 on normal, due to the fact that you get less lives, powerups suck, and giant rocks start falling on you. Also my buddy Jake did the music and sound on this game and he did a great job :D I never felt like more of a MAN than when I was holding onto the spaceship until it crashed into town. |

CONTRA 4 - In case you didn't know! In case you didn't know, Contra 4 on "Easy" mode is anything but easy. I also felt bad for killing that big fish with the eye lasers. He just wanted a friend to play with.
