Spruce Moose | I've only played Splatterhouse 3. But I really enjoyed it, so yeah, underrated game. |

I agree. Back in the day, I chose to get a Turbografx-16 rather than a Super Nintendo at first (I know, it was a bad decision), and I only owned 2 games: Keith Courage in Alpha Zones and Splatterhouse. Needless to say, Keith Courage collected dust and Splatterhouse was played until my fingers fell off. I'd love to see a comeback for the series, but its doubtful. They'd likely get sued by New Line or whoever owns the Jason Voorhees likeness rights. |

Splatter House: Diamon in the Rough I found Splatter house to be one of the easily msot entertaining games i'd ever played. It's basically the closest you'll get to Jason without having to kill teenagers. You play a protagonist (whos name escapes me) who goes through a haunted house with a jason voorhees esque mask killing demonic forces (great creature design) while trying to save your girlfriend. With all the guts, gore, and 3 hit combos you'd think it would have taken in more publicity... It attempted to bring in a larger fanbase in the third game by giving it a more Double Dragon esque format. Personally i feel this series is due for a come back. |
