| killerchipmunk | shading shading does suck, but you should try gently crowwhatching or (also gently) dabbing the area you shaded that doesn't look good with a kneaded rubber eraser.   |

| Cap'n Crunch | I just draw a really dark square, then you get a peice of paper and rub it until it looks shaded. I think there is some paper pencil thing for that, but I don't feel like wasting 7 cents. :/ |

| Ninjavenom | don't worry, i can't shade anything well either. A good idea to start with, though, would be trying to use each separate style on a cube, then try them on a sphere. It helps with light sources. |

| noob3 | shading, FUCK I CAN'T FUCKIGN SHADE AT ALL  i am a good artist (AND SELF ABSORBED) but i can't shade anything worth anything :/ atleast not with pencil =( or anything else  i see shitty pictures with good shading and it makes me sad ;/ because it makes said shitty pictures look gooood regardless of how shitty the picture is help   |
