Damn it! Damn it all to hell! Now I have to wait to save up money to dish out for a blue ray. Oh who am I kidding...I hardly have the money to buy a regular dvd.

What brand of cat poop is it? I will potentially pay $60 if you can validate it's AUTHENTICITY.

I'm gonna get the add-on for the 360, too. It's being dropped to $50.

Swordfish
Royal (some of you guys probably remember him) has a HD-DVD player add-on for his Xbox 360 and maybe 5 movies for it, including the collector's Blade Runner box set thing.

How would it be anything else than positive? The war is done.

Who gives? We still have bluray, and as far as I know that's not any worse. It's probably better if there's only one medium like this anyway, so I would almost consider this positive.

I wasn't. I really don't see the point of paying more for HD-DVDs when I can see the same story unfold on a regular DVD.

I have about 10-12 HD-DVDs and a Toshiba HD-DVD player. I'm not really that bothered about this news though. It's annoying, but if I can keep a VCR under my TV for this long, I'm sure the HD-DVD player can stay there too for the occasions I want to watch a HD-DVD. I'll probably get a dual format drive for my media centre at some point also.
