It's probably not what happened, but he did have pre-existing heart conditions. Though the image may not be pleasant, I would like to think that Gary "felt it coming on" and decided to "make love" once more before going. If you were going to die, would you rather be slumped over a gaming table with a d4 sticking in yer eye, friends all sobbing.... Or would you rather have your wife's ass on your face in bed, kicking the headboard because you hit "that spot" more than once? And i was wrong, he was married twice, but whatever. |

Oops! My bad. I thought it said "Gary Gygax dead FROM 69" not "AT". After reading that he was still DMing until January of this year, had six kids and a wife, with nothing being mentioned of any previous marriages, I thought, "DAMN!!!! I hope I can go out that way!!". He did inspire some of us to dream. |

Dr. Boogie | Well you're right. He was 69, not 70.

JediScum | I was acually a bit shocked reading he died... not so much for the dying, but I never thought he was 70 by now.

Dr. Boogie | Saving throw. I've thought about it for the past hour, and there's really no better joke than one about saving throws. Fortitude, death, the thing that killed him, they all point to saving throw being the best route for a joke about his death. What, is someone going to post some shit about owlbears? Fuck no.
