All men are Bastards. You got it right, all men are bastards. Without exception. Even ask gay men and they'll tell you the same. The question is how big of a bastard they are and what you'll put up with. From what you'll wrote you'll put up with a lot so....what's your #? Anyways. He's a dick. Your not not getting your money back and eventually your going to get stuck with this ass. Which would make your last statement about being stupid pretty true to. It seems like you know exactly what's going on but really don't want to do anything about it cause you want to blame him and play Jesus. We already have one we don't need another. You have a job and a place. He has nothing.....Let me think. Yup you still have a chance to get out of this. Get away from him before you get more in debt and can't get away from him or some other shit happens like pregnacy and then it get's even worse. Cause now you have a kid but your working all the time and this ass gets to raise the kid and the kid ends up robbing my ass in like twelve years and i'm sitting there at gun point wondering where this kids parents are and it turns out one is at worl and the othe is in the bar. yea, definitely kick this fucker to the curb...talk it over with your other flatmate, get a couple big nonbastard male friends over to your place one night and tell the guy to get his shit and leave within 10 minutes or he's getting the ever lovin shit beat out of him...he'll leave then keep tabs on him one way or another so you know when he's gotten a job...when that happens, go pester him for your money back...if he doesn't at least make an attempt to pay you back in a timely fashion after getting a job, get those male friends and pay him a visit...you might never get your money back, but seeing him writhe in pain on the ground in a pool of blood will be well worth it I'm sure

It may be difficult to try to get everything organized b/c you want to tie up loose ends before you leave if you plan on it but I say don't wait, just leave, things will work themselves out and I suggest going to someone's house you can trust (preferably a 6'5" former pro-nfl player) in case he snaps when you leave. Don't let someone scare you into staying with them and don't "put up" with someone. If you call it "putting up" with, it's not worth it and it's not mutual love. | |

*sighs* His family haven't made any effort to help me and they rarely visit. I spend time with my family every week. I would have gone home along time ago but I have to stay to get my deposit back. I can't take the box away again because it is not fair on the other flat mate. But I guess if I try and explain how bad things have become he may listen.

I agree with Zosimus...not all men are bastards, but this one sure is! I say that you get rid of his computer access. Don't tell me it isn't fair on him if it is cut off! Deny him the computer until he gets his shit together, and if he can't get his shit together, throw him out on the street! |

*sigh* Thanks. You're right. We live with someone else so thats what makes it harder. That why I pay the cable bill because its not fair on him if its cut off. I feel sad because we had a good friendship once, but the past few months he can't stop talking to his filenexus "friends" and this stupid american woman. He chooses to spend his time with them instead of me. He has become so addicted to it that he can't do anything else. He even misses important appointments at uni because of it. I don't know what to do anymore. |

Maybe its time you start setting some limits! Tell him to either get straight with monthly contributions to the household economy (plus what he owes you) or get the f*** out! It will only get harder between the two of you, if the amount grows, bringing more resentment and leaving everything else un-changed! edit: Not all men are bastards
