Colonel Flagg | Can you take a picture of the fitting you have, and where you need it to go? I work in manufacturing, and some maintenence people I work with may have an idea. It needs to be "up close and personal" wrt the fitting, of course. |

I sell gas and propane products, but the only help I usually give people is "sorry, you should try ----- or ----. Or maybe speak to a professional." I have no qualifications, and I can't help you at all. Oh, I suppose it might help if you knew the date on the bottle itself, as they change fittings for various products every couple of years to produce situations just like this one. |

I have a question about propane related equipment I need Hank Hill. So I have to get rid of the huge propane tank on the side of my house and replace it with a standard BBQ grill sized tamk. I don't want to go so far as to open an acount with a local propane delivery company since the only thing its hooked up to is an oven we rarley use (frozen pizza). I was planning to go to home depot and just go through the drawers of random fittings they have, but it turns out he thread used on BBQ grill tanks is some crazy shit that you cant get anywhere. I dont want to jerry rig this and blow my house up. Any plumbers post here? |
