Kitsa Well, between all of the rement stuff and all of the toys in general around here, the place looks like the set of Robot Chicken anyway, so I figure what the hell.

dirtyxblondexdame honestly, brilliant idea to decorate for Halloween without spending an arm and a leg. although, you might lose an arm or a leg to the Zombie Barbies..........

Sam I think one covered in shit would be most frightening.

Kitsa I want to get a bunch of cheapies at the dollar store and make an army of the Barbie Undead marching across my snapdragons.

I used cheapie acrylic paint (if you can't tell) with a little bit of pearlescent for shine. I screwed up a couple and will have to repaint them- they're too shiny and look like androids, not zombies.

I had a horrifying experience while making the one with the green dress. I had the bright idea to rub dirt all over her, so I took her out to the garden where I'd just pulled up a bunch of zucchini plants and it was all dusty. I reached for a handful and rubbed it into her dress, then realized that something didn't smell like dirt. Then I felt the gooeyness. I had a handful of the local stray's catshit.

Not a good thing to happen to an OCD handwasher, I can tell you that.

kahljorn yea nothing like real life rotting squirrel corpses near your front door to really get into that christmas spirit.

oh ya i meant holloqwwn

Aaarg Awesome.

One time a squirrel had died in our front yard and didn't have any visible wounds or anything. Rigor mortis had set in, and my sister ended up using pins to fasten him to the top of the fence near our front door, and more pins to attach a small pumpkin between his hands.

So our Halloween decoration for all the kids coming to get candy was a squirrel standing on the fence, holding a mini pumpkin.

Dixie God that never gets old.
Thanks!!!
You really have no idea how much I enjoy that one. That sucks, but it's so incredible.

By the way, I think that's the best use of dollies I've seen in awhile.
Keep up the good work!

Kitsa Kitsa has a garage sale, Kitsa is naive and dumb and lets a sweet little old lady use her bathroom, old lady holes herself in there and then suddenly bolts. Kitsa opens the door to find the bathroom coated in shit, floor to ceiling, where the old lady must have dropped a full colostomy bag on the floor and it went off like a grenade. Kitsa freaks the hell out and cannot use that bathroom for three or four months, even when it's been repainted and reeking of bleach.

Kitsa no longer allows people to use her bathroom during garage sales.

Kitsa
The Zombie Barbie Garden

This is what comes of having a boxful of childhood toys and absolutely no money to spend on halloween decorations.

ps- badly-made-up B movie zombies is kind of what I was going for.
