Now that I'm done cleaning up the derailment of this thread... Too late, it already be closed. However, you can start up the new Youtube thread (I'll even make sure nobody else does it). Enjoy. |

| Tadao | True, but I have seen youtube embedded pages and they still are slow to load when there are 10 vids on one page. |

| Fathom Zero | As you probably have already seen, it doesn't load the video until you hit play. |

I prefer the video of the turtle who can't eat the baby tomato because it's too big for his mouth. |

New BBcode installed: Youtube video embedding! Here's something I've wanted on the forums for a while... the ability to embed Youtube videos into posts, rather than always having to link to the external ones and sending people back 'n forth between the two web sites. You'll now notice a little There's one thing I should note though in regards to using proper syntax with the Youtube BBcode... HTML Code:
[youtube]yTYdarsABaI[/youtube] HTML Code:
[youtube]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yTYdarsABaI[/youtube] Basically, all you have to do is remove the "http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=" portion of the URL so all that remains is the unique video ID. As you can see, it works perfecto If you have any questions about this new BBcode or any of the other ones, I suggest reading over this page. You'll find plenty of examples of how to use each one towards the bottom of that page. Weeeeeeeee! |
