Tadao | You still might be able to go into the properties of your shortcut and find a run as admin option. Yes it won't fix your question as to what happened and it might not even fix your problem, but stop living in the past. |

I've got XP, and it only recently started doing this. All I can think of as the cause is some routines I went through to get some viruses off my PC. How, I don't know, but that's the only thing I've done differently since it stopped working. |

Tadao | If you have Vista, you should try right click the short cut and try run as admin. |

Nero not recognizing admin rights I'd ask the people at Nero, but they're too damn busy for me. I've got Nero Express 6 on my PC, but it recently stopped letting me burn CDs/DVDs and claims I need admin rights, even though there's only one account on my PC. I tried installing their BurnRights crap, but even then it tells me that I need admin rights to burn shit. Anyone know what the problem is? |
