| Dr. Boogie | Pirates of the Carribean, I think. That explains the pirates and zombies, though I'm not sure why the Monitor and the Merrimac are around for that. | |

It came out today on Live. I like it. It plays a lot like Metal Slug, but without vehicles. Bullets are big, flashing things that move relatively slowly. When enemies get too close, you can melee them. The main addition is that you can attack enemies in the background by holding a button and moving yourself into position, at which point some minor autoaiming kicks in. Difficulty-wise, it is pretty brutal. Even on the default difficulty, it's hard to make it through a stage without using a continue, simply because of the tricky set pieces and brand new stuff that's sprung on you from time to time. It's still just as funny as the original, though. Tons of awful wordplay from the main character, and a host of new game parodies from more modern titles like Bioshock and Mirror's Edge. The only difference is that now, there's a decent game attached to all this comedy. |

| Dr. Boogie | The first one had good writing, but the gameplay was pretty lame. I'm glad to see they're doing more with the character, but I just hope they can put out a better game this time. | |

I liked Matt Hazzard a lot. It just didn't have any replay value. But I saw a while ago that there'd be a faux-retro game. JAWSOME NEWS |
