| cartooncart | Great art! Why is it hidden from most users? |

| HowardC | Gotcha Rog, that makes sense. I didn't mean to imply that nobody painted btw.... I just meant that anymore whenever I see postings of a art show there seems to be very little traditional media displayed. Maybe the poor economy has started this trend. |

This show was put on by a poster company and specifically geared towards selling affordable pieces to the general public, so that's why there were no canvases. That gallery puts on plenty of shows with amazing paintings and I've featured a variety of them here on the site in the past. There are tons of great galleries here in LA really, all of which have paintings galore. There are plenty of people out there still painting all the time. And I should know... I live with one of them. |

Wonderful pieces, but as a guy who *almost* considered a career in art, I've got to ask. What's with the lack of canvas work? Seriously they all seem to be prints and I'm guessing (can't tell by the pics) many are CG work that was printed out. Nobody actually paints anymore? |

Amazing, I wish we got to see shows like that around these parts - although I haven't actively looked for around here. I like that Resident Evil one, but I'm not a huge fan of those colours. |

| dextire | Very nice! I liked the "a" one; looks like DK is deep in thought. And the Rampage one would look great as a poster (which it appears to be designed for). |

| Mockery | You can order them online. That "pick up only in LA" simply means if you don't want them shipped, they're available for pick up only if you live in LA. But anything they sell on their site is available to be shipped regardless of where you live. |

Phew, a new article. I was a little worried for a bit... Barbershop Q-Bert looks like he could just bust out into a punctuation-filled song at any moment. And I love the mischievious little moogle about to mess with his buddy's antenna bobber. |
