space harrier i know sonic 2 GG is a SMS port with some slight changes, but i think sonic 1 GG was different? I'm 99% sure Sonic 3 GG is different. the GG itself is just a master system; you can buy a converter cartridge to play SMS games in the GG |

| Nick | I never got the chance to own a Game Gear but this one older kid on my school bus had one and he let me play it every now and then on the ride to school. I remember there being a ice level in some Sonic game that I couldn't beat for anything. | ||||

this thread got me all nostalgic for my game gear, so i hooked it up and played it last night christ, sonic 2 for the gear was awful |

there are still a few analog signals floating around, though they seem to all be in spanish and involve jesus somehow. tv tuners aren't useless, it will accept a direct input and you could use it as a screen for.. i dunno. you could take your pong console with you on vacation and plug it into your gamegear for a portable pong experience :O |

Just hooked this up for the first time in about 12 years and it doesnt work >:( And it will NEVER work. EVER. Even if I bought a new one that was hot off the factory presses and never opened. Can you guess what it is?
