Jeanette X Actually, the problem in a lot of the forests where I live is not too few trees, but too many, all crowded together. The soil can't support them all, so they get scraggly and don't grow very tall. Its all second-growth.
And watch out for the coyotes.

Sometimes I wish...

... I didn't have a computer job, but instead, a job planting trees in the woods.

That would be so mellow. Carry a shovel around and some seedlings, talk to the birds and lizard friends. Maybe bring some home made ice tea. That would be the life, you know.

Hanging out in my ranger shorts, maybe one of those crocodilly hats. That would be grand.

Until rent was due.
