Belichek is such a class act though. He probably had some fancy dinner party he was late for.

Are you surprised? They just follow the Hoodie's example. He stalked off before the clock ran out the first time the Giants beat them thus avoiding the good sportsmanship that the post game handshake would require.

During the coin flip too the patriots refused to shake hands. I hope next year they rename the team to the New England Hatriots because they are a bunch of haters.

They needn't have worried - their defense was stellar with only a few breakdowns during the game. Still, it shows again why I'm a better fan than a coach.

That was not a hot dog move, that was an 'oops I was hoping not to score just yet' move. Turns out he needn't have worried, but it was clear on that play that the Pats deliberately let the Giants score so they would have more time to score themselves. The Giants clearly wanted to do the old 3 runs and a go ahead field goal limiting the Pats time for a comeback even further though.

Or lose to the Giants again so they can bring another public tantrum by Belichick home. Either or.

Things seem to be falling right into place for New England. I don't have a rooting interest in the post-season from here on. The Pats have the O. The 'Niners have the D. New York has the momentum. And the Ravens have Ozzie Newsome as GM.

Turns out Defense does win championships, 75% of the teams left have great defenses.
Would have been 100% of them had Tebow had another Tebow in him this year though.

How about that Tebow?
Would have happened last week if the Steelers had been healthy and not trying to screw around.

Meh to both games. Bring on Green Bay and the Giants.

The problem is that the Steelers tried to Tebow Tebow, and then got out Tebowed themselves in the end. This is why martial arts masters always beat the shit out of their own impertinent students when they challenge the master. You can't beat a master in his own dojo and you can't out Tebow Tim Tebow.

I think Tebow was hiding that throwing arm all season. I was expecting the Broncos to get slaughtered.

Atlanta is much improved from last year, but the Giants should be able to beat them easily, unless the same team shows up that lost to the Eagles in November. An easier call is Pittsburgh/Denver - the Stillers are the far better team on paper, and on the field. The only thing is if TeBow has another miracle comeback in him this year?
Here's to next week, which should have the much better games.
