jewishcarpenter | I was in a sad state after reading this post, do know which state that is? That's right, Vermont. | |

An honest answer to your question: with movies, television, magazines, the internet, and every other form of modern media, well, books are no longer the prime source of entertainment or education for a lot of people. I know I read a lot more books before I started wasting so much time on BBS's and then the web. A simple solution: steal a library and set up shop in a cave away from civilization where you won't have to notice as our books become antiquities. |

The Sad State of Reading Today Why doesn't anyone like to read anymore? I guess it's not "cool" or something. Oh well. Just one more reason I hate people. |
