Skulhedface Super Mario Bros.

Heh heh heh.

Maybe because so many of us have played through it so many times, we could all probably get through world 1-1 in our sleep.

SLjimbo Once you got the metal blade weapon in Mega Man 2, you can get through the stages with no problems at all.

whoreable I wish they would make more games like they used to. Games you could never beat. Games were your skill were totally determined by your score. Every single game in the 80s seemed to have the goal of getting the highest score. now that is rarely thee case. No cheating no secrets just pure skill. None of those old games were easy beacuse you couldnt ever beat them. You could get damn good but there was still always someone better than you.

And I guess a big reason is that you are against real people's scores not some retarded program.

There are alot of easy games. I haven't had serious trouble in a single player game since I was a kid. :/

It's all about competition instead. The cpu doesn't have shit.

Rongi Actually, DMC just sucked.

HickMan Soul Reaver. Because you must of been seriously retarted to die in that game.

Dan The Second one is said to be like ten times easier than the first.
Aug 2nd, 2003 03:57 PM
Zomboid No, I mean the first one. I think I died once and that was cause I was trying to make the final boss battle last longer by just dodging.

You mean Devil May Cry II right? Because the first game was pretty hard.

Drew Katsikas The 2nd Star Wars game, I believe it was called rebel alliance or something. I recall beating it in 1/2 hour on PS1.

Ninfoxwoods For easy games I would have to say Kirbys Dreamland, ShadowGate 64, Wario Land(Gameboy) Star Fox Adventures and Enter the Matrix.

I'd have to disagree with you, Eternal Darkness was super easy. Beat it in one sitting (one sitting consisting of a couple of 2-3 minute breaks for food, pop, bathroom) in only like 13 or 14 hours. Never got stuck once.

ED is indeed easy to beat!

Also for easy games...I thought that Star Fox Adventures was pretty easy, as was Final Fantasy IX (compared to what I was expecting atleast, allthou it was a GREAT game)

pjalne I'm over half-way into Wind Waker now, and I've never been close to dying. Hell, I haven't even had to use a fairy yet.

It looks like I'm never ever going to hit that Nintendo gallery switch, though.

Blackjack As a rule of thumb, Japanese Games tend to be very easy, whilst American games are usually hard (but have tons of cheats!). That just leaves European games, which suck, and British games, which are the best.

Three easy-peasy games that instantly spring to mind are:

Sega Rally
Duke Nukem 3d
MDK

Esuohlim That's weird. It said Cap'n Crunch had the last reply here, but the_dudefather did. :omgconfused

I'm all up for the deletion of Crunch's posts though, so I'm happy.

And Link's Awakening only took me about two hours straight through today, but I guess that doesn't really count because my first time through took me about a month and now I know that game like the back of my...penis.

EDIT: OK, now Crunch's post appeared, but it says there's 25 posts now, even though as of this post there are actually 26. Is it like this for anyone else?
Jul 27th, 2003 08:40 PM
Cap'n Crunch Well, I'm good at all of the Resident Evil games. The puzzles aren't that hard compaired to RE games. :/

SLjimbo For me, it's a tossup between Final Fantasy X and Dino Crisis 2. FFX was simple because of the linear gameplay for most of the game, while DC2 was too combat heavy.
