It is when taken into the context of the entire trend of approval. He was in the high seventies mere months ago.

- Oh that's nasty! Last week I've read a recent Canadian survey on Dubya. It shows that 2/3 of Canadians have an unfavourable opinion as compare to Americans 2/3 postive opinion of him. Although the two American surveys results are different, it appears that at one time Dubya's favourable rating may have been connected to the importance on finding WMDs in Iraq.

If you break down Canada's take, the most favourable opinion can be found in the Alliance Party, its Canada's version of the Republican Party, and that matches Americans average of 2/3 favourable opinion, but his unfavourable score shoots up pass 50% with the Progressive Conservative Party, and pass 80% unfavourable opinion with the Liberal Party (the governing party), the Bloc, and the NDP supporters.

No wonder Dubya cancelled his trip to Ottawa!

At least he has the balls to stand on the floor of the House Of Commons and take the abuse and allegations rather than standing behind a press secretary and an army of speech writers and political advisors. Latest polls suggest Blair's approval rating in the 30's somewhere whilst Dubya is floundering somewhere in the fifties or so. Check it out!

Bush Approval Ratings

Just thought this was an interesting trend by the American people ... it can almost be mathematically plotted. We're soooo predictable.
