I don't agree about Mit Gas being the same as the last album. It shares similarities, such as keeping with a similar theme throughout the album, but it has a different sound. I couldn't imagine "Capt. Midnight" being on self-titled, and I couldn't imagine "Cul De Sac" being on Mit Gas, for example. Not a huge difference, but it's different enough to be worth the price. Infact, I loved every track except for "Harlem Clowns." What was the freakin' point in that? |

That EP was where Patton wanted to take DEP. And I think DEP are quite better off doing their own thing, judging from Running Board and Calculating. The new Tomahawk is umm... exactly like the last one, not that that makes it a bad record but I mean every song is interchangable with any other. I do not particularily care for the stylistics he eploys in Tomahawk. I still prefer Bungle or Faith No More over his newer stuff. And don't get me started on the overrated Fantomas. Right on about the personal albums, though. |

No, because then Dillinger Escape Plan might stop sucking. Just kidding. DIP is pretty cool. They definitely benefited from Mikey on that one EP. |

crash0814 | Mit Gas is the one of the best albums of the year so far. Tomahawk's great, but Mr. Bungle is better in my opinion. Too bad they're on the verge of a breakup. Mike Patton is the fucking man. He needs to form more bands. And also never release a solo album again. |
