George Orwell wrote it. Great novel. Darker than most anything else I've read, devoid of any but the coldest humor, and positively frightening (at least to me). Doubleplusgood. |

1984 This book is extremely good, and yet wholly depressing. I am about half way through, and I STILL am confused about some of it, and the rest of it terrifies me because it COULD happen. If you have read it, then tell me what you think. If you haven't read it, then you should do so soon. You owe it to yourself. |
