| Zbu Manowar | Well, what is the general consensus on the Gonzo Journalism books? I remember reading the intro to #1 (the exact title passes me by) and chuckling as Thompson gloated over Nixon's downfall. Any good? |

| Miss Modular | The only one of his books I've read is Hell's Angels, but I'd recommend it. I'm not sure I'd start with it, though. |

... I can tell you what not to start out with... SCREWJACK. My first HST book was Screwjack and I had no clue what the fuck was going on. Read on the Campaign trail or in Las Vegas first. The campaign trail is great though, 'cause the preface explains the entire book. You don't need much knowledge on the author for that one. |

| Zbu Manowar | Shit. Well, what did he think of Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas then? |

| Protoclown | As I recall Jaeger really enjoyed that one! |

| Zbu Manowar | Shit! At least I can avoid 'Fear and Loathing on the Campaign Trail '72.' My library was cool enough to stock that but still, it didn't have the bite of his other Gonzo efforts. |

| Protoclown | Too bad Jaeger isn't here anymore. He could tell you everything you want to know about Thompson's books. |

Hunter Thompson Can anybody recommend which of his books to get first? I've been reading those little previews on Amazon's website and 'Hells Angels' is tempting me. |
