Escape from New York = secksay action... love it  didn't really like Escape from LA though, too anti-climactic and the effects were just plain bad. Really really really bad. Cool gun in the beginning though. |

I doubt it, at the very least it might be delayed. The only time I can think of MGM cancelling a DVD was with Clownhouse and that's because of various reasons. And that was RIGHT before release, as most review sites got a copy and reviewed it!

I hope so, the only time I saw it was on the VHS edition where they only showed bits and parts of the scene without sound. This has been a very long time coming. Now if they'll release the special edition of Robocop which is a bit more creepy. |

DID YOU GUYS NOTICE that Snake Plissken bears an uncanny.... UNCANNY resemblance to Captain Ron?!? AMAZING! By the way... I loved Escape from New York and Escape From LA, although upon repeated viewings, you more or less find out it's the same movie. |

Yeah, it got cancelled a while back and apparently got started up again :/ . I'm glad though. I only have the fog and the thing, and I want they live and escape from new york next

Hahah yeah i loved this movie, i remember watching it very early in my youth, it kinda stuck with me.. I think thats why i always got a kick out of Kurt Russel (Ya have to admit, regardless if ya liked the actor, ,he had some cool roles- Snake Plisken, ,O'niel from Stargate- That dude in Soldier, The THING!!, Tombstone... etc) I watched it again recently and it is definitely Classic status |

Escape From New York is one of the many great John Carpenter classics. If you like his other old flicks, you'll enjoy this one. Snake Pliskin

Escape From New York! Has anyone ever seen this movie? Its on sale for 2 bucks at HMV and I was wondering if it is even worth that. Some movie called Leviathin is for sale for 3 bucks too, I was thinking of getting that as well. |
