| The Retro Kat | They don't have enough wattage to give off the heat that regular bulbs would. Don't worry. I know what I'm talking about. |

| Jeanette X | I don't see why they would be any more of a fire hazard than a regular light. Unless the wires are frayed or the bulbs are cracked or you put too many plugs in one socket of course... |

Stupid Question Does anyone know just how much of a fire hazard christmas lights really are? I'm in the process of making a canopy thing for my bed, and wanted to put some lights up as well...but burning down my bed would make me cry.
