JeefGyle TCM was great. I can understand an idiot finding it boring and not being able to see what was going on, basically just because he/she is an idiot. That's just their nature..

but the cheaper looking elements in horror films make it a lot scarier when you're not focusing on special effects and gore. One complaint I have for the film is the part when the wheelchair kid get sawed up, that looked TOO cheap for me. I laugh at that part.

As far as house of 1000 corpses goes...complete trash.

Zbu Manowar It'll cost you nearly $10 if not more to go out and see this re-remake.

Save yourself the time right now.

Zomboid Jason goes to hell was pure shit. I can't fucking stand that movie. It was totally different from the other movies and not even watchable like halloween 3.

Snatchtastic
.

I liked it when the annoying brother in the wheelchair just sat thier while leatherface sawed through his body.

Jason goes the Hell was great, especially when he punched the fat bitch in the mouth and it imploded. And to top it all off he dunks her head in a deep fryer.

GOLD.

Ninjavenom How the hell could you not see what was going on? Do you have cataracts? Besides that, it's not like it was too terribly hard to guess what was going on by the sound. It was meant to look and feel like a student flim kind of project, that's why it was so great. It would have been gay if everything were a slow motion pan to close-up on the characters, and all that shit. The film is about putting the terror element back in horror, not the blood, which you so lovingly refer to as "gore". There was blood in TCM, not guts, or brains, or even much flying blood.

JackShit im gonna catch all kinds of hell fo this but i thought the first Texas Chainsaw massacre was pure trash.... the gore and violence was cool... iand i dug that it had a 8mm film feeling to it.. but it was fucking stupid dark.... i couldn't tell what was goning on half the time..... personally i wanted those few moments i of my life that i wasted on tobe hoopers "classic" back... i felt the same about that shit-fest house of a thousand corpses too. and i know a bunch of you are gonna bitch and call blasphemy and "horror movies owe alot to tcm" fuck that... it was fucking boring.

There has been quite a prolific trend in the pussification of most horror movies in general these days (With slim exceptions of course..) and it saddens me that they would even think to take a classic like TCM and remake it

Jeanette X The first and second TCMs were great. TCM: The Next Generation was a piece of shit though.

ScruU2wice When i saw the preview for this the surround sound seemed really artificial. I hope they wont try to use the sound as cruch in the movie cuz it was really bad in the previews :/

Ninjavenom Correction. They are re-RE-making it. And you're absolutely right, that movie was perfect the way it was. They're just going to make it a gay thriller movie about a man in a leather mask who makes inappropriate noises at the strangers in his home. He may attempt to broom them, should they not leave.

Mockery Again, I heard the person who runs the production company for this movie is actually "against violence in movies", so I wouldn't expect much from this thing. And also again, the first TCM was perfect as it was, so there's no need to remake it. They went through hellishly shitty conditions just to get the movie made, and it shows in the movie.

Remaking TCM is like trying to remake JAWS. :/

(scroll down a bit to see it)

I really hope they don't try to fuck it up again. From the preview that I saw, it looks like there is going to be alot more gore. It better have some humor in it still.

It's either going to be a good remake, or they are going to fuck it up beyond belief. I am glad Rene Zelwigger and Matthew Mcconaughey aren't in this one.
