kellychaos I haven't worn a shirt with any writing on it, be it manufacturer's logo or otherwise, for years. It's not a form of snobbery or anything. It just doesn't appeal to me to wear that type of thing.

FartinMowler I guess you understand my point then. I'm kinda in a pre-midlife blues... just adjusting to having time to actually write and play my bass without all the complications of "I wonder if I will get laid tonight?" or " I wonder what I should wear today" or " should I have a shower and shave today" just to impress people or boost my self image. I find this site annoying sometimes and really want to leave and sometimes I feel guilty that I don't send money to support it for the fact that I am in denial that I actually belong to a group of people that I don't think actually like me or they mainly don't like themselves and that is actually "teh" group that is underlying in this mostly a ficticious site?. I alway's wonder if most of the people have alter ego's respond to boost there self image mainly because everyone is too shallow to talk to each other. I alway's revert back to James who said "Fartin you just don't get it". I've spent most of my life not getting
religion/homosexuality/callous and unfeeling people. I am slowly becoming bitter and my skin is getting thick and I hope that I can regain my funny warped sense of humour that many friends and family have said that I have and I feel is slowly slipping away......Boogie knew it was me so I figured most would figure it out.. :/ [/code]

Dole " Well that's just an obvious taken out of context ploy...I can imagine that this site is teaming with insecure people searching out there sexuality or beliefs. I think that the underlying fact that I am a guy that just likes to have fun and communicate with different people without an agenda is too difficult for %99 of you. When I first came to this site I was kicked in the head over and over and to this day I never have recieved a nice PM from someone just to chat. Who is hidding something? I've used this site to try out some things that I have alway's wanted to do but spent my life working hard for the things I have. One thing, if anybody every paid any attention to me is that I like to "write" not explore the possibility that I might be a homosexual or I might believe in God. I am comfortable with being a boring online friendless heterosexual that just wants to make a few people laugh "

FartinMowler I dunno I find it's like the over saturation of "I'm Gay and proud of it" thing. I mean in the last 5 years I have had this rammed down my throat with movies and t.v and newspapers and magazines that I now am so full of this and I've just begun to relax about being ok with the fact that I don't believe in God that I just wish people would shut up and be nice people with out giving something to advertise there stupid beliefs or sexual preferences.

Perndog You're missing my point, Blanco. It's the kids, man, the kids. I don't care what any Christian or pagan or Jew or Muslim says to me. I care about their influence on the children that I will have sometime in my life. No, I don't think this sort of thing would actually have more than a nominal effect on any normal kids, but it's the thought that counts.

Protoclown In answer to the original question, no one is wrong. Just return them, there's no reason for either party to make a big deal out of it.

It's no more rude for you to return the shirts than it was for the gift-giver to make an assumption about your religious beliefs in the first place.
