Benpercent Thanks, everyone. That search engine should prove unusually helpful. Let this Halloween not pass me by!

Ex Leper Since last year me and a friend have been compiling 31 downloadable Halloween mixes with the widest variety of songs we can. This is our second annual year. Many of our selections from our first year were recently added to the Jack-O-Juke this year.

dextire I tend to find some of the best/strangest Halloween things at stores I normally don't frequent. Art supply stores, thrift shops, hardware stores, furniture warehouses, etc.

Sacks I'm in your area and we usually get a big selection of 'Halloween' stores that carry various versions of the same products. Six Flags does Fright Fest which can be a pretty good time and includes a few haunted houses. Rog is right about Alamo Drafthouse usually doing some cool stuff, too.

Mockery If you live in Texas, I would suggest checking this site. They actually have listings for any states, but yeah... hopefully that'll help you get started on visiting some good haunts.

As for horror movies in theaters... you have the Alamo Drafthouse in Texas, and I'm sure they'll be playing some fantastic stuff there.

Hope this helps!

Finding Halloween Events for a Fullfilling 31st

These last few Halloweens have passed me by with many regrets on my part, because I did not work hard enough to take advantage of all that things that happen during the season. Since it's my favorite holiday, it certainly isn't paying justice to it!

As such, I want to make sure I do SOME things this year, like go to a haunted house, visit a REALLY good Halloween store, go to a horror movie festival, or whatever.

However . . . how, exactly, could I go about finding out about these events? As the Halloweens have passed me by, I don't exactly remember actually ignoring any significant advertisements for things like corn mazes or anything, so I wonder how I could position myself to have the best chances of finding this kind of information.

Does anyone know of any means? If it helps at all, I live in Texas, primarily within the Dallas/Plano cities.
