The One and Only... Here is my current workout routine, which can be performed without weights and can easily be done at home.

- Stretch. I usually perform 20 lunges with each leg, important for me because I'm a fencer. You need to stretch out more than just your legs, however; stretch all of your body parts. Although it is unlikely your muscle growth from this will limit your flexibility, it is always better to improve upon it.

- Walk a mile on an elevated treadmill.

- Perform 200 bicycle manuevers.

- Perform 100 crunches.

- Perform 50 bridges. (Note: This exercise is intense. I am considering dialing back the number of reps to 25 and simply maintaining the position longer)

- Perform 15 push-ups, bringing your chin to the floor each time. (Set 1)

- Perform 40 squats, going as low as you possibly can.

- Perform 15 push-ups, bringing your chin to the floor each time. (Set 2)

If you follow this plan, you may need to start off with less intensity. I've been doing this for a while now, and have seen results. The only thing I'm considering changing is increasing the number of reps in the push-up sets.

The One and Only...

The One and Only... Cut carbs and fat; eat high in protein. Forget about calories, just look at the percentages of those three things.

Exercise, and strength train. Although weight loss can effectively be done by diet alone, you'll keep a better tone in the end and may be able to convert some of the fat into muscle. I wish I had done this when I lost my weight... I'm strength training now, and never felt better.

Skim milk = GOD. For maximum results, drink at least a gallon of skim milk in around 3 days. Look at which brand you get, too. The best kinds have around 17% of your recommended protein intake per serving. Also, ignore the carbs in skim milk. The scientifically-shown benefits of the drink to weight loss more than compensate for it.

Kashi Lean Crunch is a fantastic cereal. It provides high protein and fiber, making it filling but also low in sugars and fat (no saturated fat, too). Plus it gives you an opportunity to down more skim milk, which is, as afore mentioned, GOD. I would suggest incorporating it as a staple in your diet.

I know all this from experience. I lost 70 lbs. in around a year. Trust me, losing the weight is worth the effort. You'll feel better about yourself than you ever did.

Lotida LOW CARB WORKS!! Plus, they are making tons of stuff that is low carb these days. You don't just have to stick with cheese and meat.

Like IS said...drink TONS of water. Exercise at least 3 times a week.

Good Luck.

ArrowX I would suggest getting them free range, there leaner. Besides if they take after him....

No but seriously Water and more activity. I would suggest having a single sandwich for lunch, fills you up untill Supper tume rolls around. It worked for me(for the most part) I was 176 but about 163 now. I just need to work out so's I can lose my flab and man tittiys I'm gonna start going to the gym more....

If you want to work the fat away I would suggest swimming. In the summer I lose about 9 pounds, because all I do is swim. Then winter rolls around and the belly rears its ugly head
