DougClayton4231 | Zombie Holocaust is a failed abortion of a movie. I love the part where the guy jumps out the window and the dummy's arm falls off but in the next shot it magically reattaches itself. |

Doesn't get better than zombie holocaust. I couldn't find a video where the guy jumps out of the window and switches to that terrible stunt dummy which when it hits the ground its arm flies so I made do with the shitty nurse scream. |

He was a nice pimp too, taking his hos to a movie. |

I was actually thinking of making a movie and if I did, it would be something like a Dario Argento flick, with the Goblin-style soundtrack, or maybe something like Soft Cell's Sex Dwarf. Dark movie. I dunno. I liked the Italian films a lot. BTW; Susperia is one of the few movies that has ever surprised me. It was how the blind guy died that got me. |

Fathom Zero | Demons is the greatest because of the foreign black dude that had to be dubbed into Italian and then into English. He's awesome. |

Zomboid | Demons is probably still my favorite, but Suspiria and the Beyond were both great too. Zombie is also a classic, if for no other reason than the really over-the-top scenes. |

Nothing tops Deep Red's scene with that awkward doll with the clockwork in it's head with the teething bashing following afterwards. |

The thing is that it's not even horror, it's just awful and depraved. Giallo is good, I like the Bavas' films. But Dario Argento should always be mentioned when it comes to Italian horror. The scene with the piano wire in Susperia got to me because of my fear of sharp things. |

Yeah, that one bugged me a lot more than Cannibal Holocaust. Oh, and if you (not you,FZ) think there's nothing more to Italian horror than stuff like Salo and Cannibal Holocaust, you're probably not really a horror fan to begin with. |

I thought that it was pretty revolting, but I don't really enjoy Italian horror films. It reminded me a lot of the Guinea Pig films from Japan that made me physically ill. Btw, his chin is no where near as cool as Rog's. |

dymphnawolf | I love this movie. It is incredibly brutal but it is also a very original and interesting story. Unfortunately, a lot of people get put off from this movie right away because of the animal scenes. |

oh yea i love this movie. i really like how they lay the whole thing out so that thr first half of the movie they are going around seeing the affects of the first group of people and not really knowing why the hell people were acting like that (like that dude that raped the white woman with a sharp rock or whatever, and then the village that was all scared; all cause of those original white dudes i think). Then in the second half of the movie you actually see all the bullshit that group of people did... yea and the turtle scene is kind of mystical |

Cannibal Holocaust Welp, I just finished watching the uncut edition of the movie Cannibal Holocaust and I have to agree that is one of the most brutal movies ever. I see why the Italian government would accuse Ruggero Deodato of making a snuff film. Not to say that the movie's gore affected with me, but the way that they presented the movie certainly did. Deodato did an excellent job of making it seem like a real documentary. Has anyone else ever watched this film before? PS: Doesn't the Alan character look like an asshole version of Rog? |
