There is no serious history of a Canada hatred in the USA. If we intend . If we intend to brutally sieze the country when the midwest dustbowl starts and new parts of canada become arable, we need to lay the groundwork now. Hence, statements about how they are 'lucky' for what we 'let them' have, as opposed to them being a sovereign nation and ally. It is nice, though, to see quasi nazis like Coulter coming out of the closet and embracing American imperialsim. It's a nice precurser to conquest.

Hey, lets have a betting pool about how long before we here the phrase 'manifest destiny' unironically reintroduced into the political discussion!
Erm... Neocons aren't necessarily the ones guilty of ignoring... nevermind... I got where you were headed despite your flubbed directions.

It'd be pretty easy actually, with or without global warming. I heard Rumsfeld was already sending much cash to those cwazy secessionists, and I think the plan is to work out a deal where we simply extend our border 25 miles (986 km) northward, sneakily annexing 97% of all the livable land in Canada, leaving all the tundra for those fucked up few that would rather prance around on the dole speaking French.

Personally, I'm against it. I'd rather keep the carrot on the stick and leave America junior as the comedian factory it is. We should probably relate whatever entirely sensible tariffs we currently have in place, as well a few extra sanctions we could likely implement, to their lack of anything recent on par with the Kids in the Hall. I think they're still resting on their laurels after the whole Allanis Morrisette thing. We need to send a clear message: Get off your asses, eh! Make us freakin laugh!

kahljorn Why are we even arguing about this anymore? The bitch got hit by a pie, only an idiot would still listen to her! HER CAREERS OVER, and the footage of her being nailed by a pie should be aired EVERY FUCKING TIME she talks. In fact she should just have a bigscreen tv permanantly attached to her back with that footage constantly playing. or maybe one in her stomach like a tellytubby, between that and her tail people will be convinced everywhere...

I understand what you are saying. Those would be official stats with your governments's stamp of apporoval.

I am refering to people in the involved agencies noticing extra activity and going to the media, before any hard data is released.

What do you think polls are?
Dec 17th, 2004 01:27 PM
Royal Tenenbaum I can basically guarantee that there will be no increase in immigration to Canada. If the US was pissed off enough, people would have just striked, etc. But, George Bush winning really doesn't threaten them enough. It's more of a nuisance to them than anything else.

Daphne They can say whatever they want about Canada, even if it was true it'd still be better than sharing a country with Ann Coulter and Tucker Carlson.

I just love that they think it upsets us. We're just happy to be mentioned on your news.

No. The media does not get to listen in on your phone calls or written correspondence.
But the government or whatever agency is handing out the forms or taking care of this sort of thing will notice a bump.

And again, one of the people actually doing this would be raising all hell about it, just to show how revolutionary they are.

imported_I, fuzzbot. I doubt Coulter and Carlson really have misunderstandings about Canada. They both make their living by making stupid outrageous statements. They are the professional wrestlers of politics, the dancing monkeys, the parisan hacks.

Personally, I haven't watched enough of Carlson enough on a regular basis to see if he actually has anything to add to the political dicussion, but what I have seen of him he doesn't add much. Maybe Carlson is just not as bad as Coulter, but since Coulter is from what I've seen the bottom of the barrel it's not saying much for Carlson.

Also for the full transcript check of Carlson on Wolf Blitzer Reports go to the following link:
http://edition.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0411/30/wbr.01.html

A closer look shows that Carolyn Parrish certainly was able to hold her own against Carlson and several times shot him down.

So people who come to different conclusions than you aren't thinking or reasoning? That a person with a different opinion than you is irrational? I may have misread it, but that appears to be what you said.
I think he was referring to all the assholes who voted for Bush with the "Who cares if he runs the country into the shitter, he hates fags just like I do" mentality. If you voted for him because of your own personal reasoning, then fine. Just so long as you don't consider your party to be the "moral majority".

What I meant that the majority of this country, just doesn't think about or question anything. I know I made it sound like just right-wingers, but theoretically I meant people with all different politcal opinions.

There rational because they "thought" about immigrating because of the Bush Administration.
You have a pretty loose defenition of the word "thought". I'm pretty sure most of them were just being self important assholes blowing smoke.

AChimp Yeah. You can't just pick up and move to a different country within a couple days.

They won't have immigration figures for 8-12 months to see if there's been an increase in Americans moving north.

Not to mention the process of gaining citizenship in Canada dosen't exactly happen over night. And something more drastic has to happen, like a draft, for people to really start to concider jumping the border.
