Into the Everflow by Psychotic Waltz has some of the best double-leads ever recorded. But technically speaking, any Behold... the Arctopus song is just one big solo and they're always impressive. Maudlin of the Well are really impressive when their lead guitarist shreds out, but also the more reserved stuff works nice so what goes on in the end of 'A Violent Mist' is excellent. For shred madness - Gleam in Ranks. The accoustic-then-electric solo by Matheos/Aresti in Fates Warning's 'Monument' is great. Watchtower. Oh man. Where to start. God damn it. Almost everything is miles more advanced than most other metal, but a favourite solo is in 'The Eldritch'. And I'm not uploading a thing. Go buy a record or two. |

Detroit Rock City- Ace Frehley for serious though, gutiar solos are so unmetal jk though for real seirosuness what I'm really all about is like the guitar solo from Green Carnation's Light of Day, Day of Darkness, the one that happens at the 42 minute mark or so. |

Best guitar solo... What is it? A couple of my personal favourites are: 'No more tears' solo - zakk wilde (ozzy) 'Unforgiven solo' - Kirk hamlett (metallica) Also 'eruption' by van halen is pretty good. Oh yea, and if you could provide an MP3 of your choice it would be much appreciated (i will upload mine if anyone wants to hear em?) |
