BlueOatmeal | I was thinking about getting one of those for my DS. Would that be all I need to play ROMs on it?

http://www.mrmodchips.co.uk/catalog/...roducts_id=355 That one. :] From there. £20 cheaper than where I WAS going to get it from. Along with one of there - http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/...835924-5351002 And one of these - http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/...835924-5351002 And the DS is £89.99 with a game. But I can't find the list of what games I can boot the passkey with. D; Edit: Never mind, found it. << |

Well ya' see, I don't wanna get ANOTHER Dreamcast because A. I'd have to get a controller converter because I really dislike the D-Pad on the DC controller, and B. They crap out really quickly (Especially if they're reading CD-R's all the time, which it would be because there's no way I'm forking out £30 for a copy of the game). Also, I think the DS Lite won't come out for a while over here. And I'm very, very impatient. Also, turns out the DS, Passkey M3 combo, SD card and SD Reader/writer is cheap enough for me to have left over cash to get a... ...Arcade style dance platform.... ... ._. |

Staxeon | Also, as much as I would root for the computer, I don't see the point of spending the extra money on a 64 bit processor unless you also have a 64 bit OS and 64 bit applications.

Staxeon | Wait for DS Lite to roll out, the other DS prices should drop from there.

It'd just be a DC emulator that I'd use, mainly. :/ I mean, Oblivion doesn't interest me. I'm not bothered by Half Life 2. It's just about the ease of getting the games onto the passkey is all I'm worried about. Edit: FUCK OW MY HEAD HURTS TRYING TO UNDERSTAND THIS DAMN DS THING. |

GOD DAMN DECISIONS  Okay, so I'm getting about £300 soon, and I WAS gonna get a new 2.4ghz 64 AMD Athlon. Buuuuuut.... It occured to me that I could also get a DS, a 115 Euro Passkey (As seen here) and a couple of SD sticks, and not have to worry about buying another DS/GBA game again. I was only thinking of getting the processor so I could play SFIII: 3rd Strike and various other 2D fighters at full speed on my Dreamcast emulator. HOWEVER. I'm worried that I'll get all the junk, DS, Passkey etc and end up with 1 item that I can't do anything with, and be stuck with it because it's fucking HARD to return to online stores. Has anyone had any experience with these things before? Has anyone heard bad/good things about these? If so, could you lob a few pointers at me PLOX? |
