Jixby Phillips HEY FOLKS

Sorry I couldn't do anything with anybody! I was only actually in LA for two nights, and aparently my dad planned a bunch of horrible family shit to do the other two days. My dad duped me with false advertising, calling this a "FUN" trip to LA. What he REALLY had in mind was a BORING trip to NEWPORT BEACH. He DID cave and sprung for a hotel for two nights in Hollywood, though, so I did get to do a few fun things. Like I saw some comedy shows, went to Amoeba Records, and watched a couple things at the Museum of Television and Radio!

I'LL TALK ABOUT THIS MORE OKAY

Lenor San fransico is rainy, but its not so bad. Their are alot of interesting places to attend. Seattle, is a great place to go hikeing and outdoors shit. Which you dont get to do very often in NY, unless its built and inside. NY has emo-goth freaky kinky people, almost the entire city is 'ghetto'. And NY is the first to get fucking bombed. Theres always naples, FL ..

Hahaha, Washington is rain every season but summer. I've lived there 22 of my 23 years of life. Summers are awesome, the last 3 of them had maybe... 4-5 days of really rainy days combined? Or something like that (we ignore sprinkles)

And Seattle is into such a emo-goth scene that it makes me want to cry.
And Tacoma is the ghetto.
And Olympia is the whiney liberal
And Spokane is more Idaho then Washington.

and that sums it up for WA. Which use to have a state motto "Say Wa?"

DeadKennedys Someday I plan on making a pilgrimage to Seattle to visit Bruce Lee's grave. I'll try to drop on by and you can show me some Tae Kwon Do moves.

Lenor I'm going to San Fran in may, then to Seattle, to visit my uncle and aunt.

I'm thinking of just staying there since NY sucks, we have shitty weather, and the clubs are getting boring :/

Jixby Phillips I'm free to do what I want, but I have no other way to get around than him driving me around. And he's being a weird grouch about actually doing stuff, EVEN when I include him.

After all this discussion of going to comedy shows, he's considering getting a hotel in the city for the first couple nights, so maybe I'll be closer and free-er to do stuff. I'll keep you posted.

Visiting LA

Hello internet. I am visiting LA very soon - Thursday soon. I'll be in/near LA on the 22nd-26th. I'm tagging along on this trip with my dad pretty much, and I'll rely on him to drive me around and stuff. Dad is giving me greif though about actually DOING STUFF when we get to LA. Aparently he thinks its enough to stay at my uncle's house for 4 nights and maybe visit a Best Buy that's slightly bigger than the one in Redding. So any kind of meet-up will probably be hard to pull off. I just bought/reserved tickets to some comedy shows I wanna go to, and I'm still not even sure if I'll have ways to get to said comedy shows, even though I bought my dad tickets.

So I open this up to anybody who lives in or near LA to give me some dad-friendly fun things to do while in LA. We're actually staying in Corona Del Mar, and even though my dad billed this as a trip to LA to get me to go, he's wincing at any suggestion of actualy having to drive into the city. He seems to have thought I knew people in LA that would let me sleep on their floor and drive me around town, if I wanted. This is not the case.
