Awesome, works really well. By the way, is there supposed to be a file called exit.exe in the root directory? |

Another spyware thread My PC is just completely infested with spyware even though I've only been connected to the net for a week, haven't installed any file share clients and don't use IE. My C root has probably got 10 different obvious apps (some are even called stuff like "LOL Spywar3") that have installed themselves, and I don't dare think about how much is hidden all over the drive. In my task manager the process list is about two pages long. I run AdAware and Spybot daily, and they just don't find more than a couple of files. Are there any other programs I can use? Also, since I never got XP on CD to begin with, I had to install it from a cracked version when I got my new computer. Therefore, I can't install service pack 2. Is there a way to fix this? |
